 
Hans Christian Yachts, relocated from Taiwan to Thailand in the late 1980s. The company is wholly owned by Hans Christian Europe n. v. who has headquarters in Antwerpen, Belgium. The current production includes the classic Traditional range from 33ft to 48ft and the Christina 43.
The yard is located on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand and is within easy access of Bangkok International airport. Production facilities are carefully monitored and improved in pace with the latest technology available. The lamination shop is climatic controlled to ensure faultless production and maintain the reputation of Hans Christian which has a reputation amongst blue water sailors second to none.
The Production Manager is Jack Hall from New Zealand who has been associated with building quality boats for numerous years, mainly in Asia, Jack trained with Salthouse Brothers Boat builders in Auckland serving a shipwrights apprenticeship, and went with the Company to Korea to supervise the production of Celestial Yachts. He has also been involve in many projects throughout Thailand.
The Engineering Departments is headed by Mr. Robin Virant from Australia. Robin has a wealth of experience in systems design and fabrication. He began his career as a Fitter and Turner and persevered studying part time to gain a BE Maritime and post graduate Business qualifications. Robin prefers a hand on approach and enjoys passing on his skills to the local tradesmen. He joins us after senior Management positions in P.N.G., Australia, and Thailand.
The Design Manager is Mr. John Oliver, a fiberglass applications specialist from New Zealand. John has many years experience in yacht design and building, particularly in Taiwan and Thailand. A long time resident in Thailand, John has an excellent appreciation of the indigenous Thai workforce's capabilities.
The yachts produced in the yard are all hand built, the interiors are made by a small team of highly skilled craftsmen using only the finest materials. Fiberglass moldings are used in the head compartments, the rest of the interiors being of wood construction. Teak is used extensively throughout as standard, but are willing to consider other hardwoods locally available if the owner wishes.
Due to the traditional nature of Hans Christian Yachts, a large amount of custom bronze fittings are used, all manufactured locally and finished in house, which include elliptical port lights, hawsers and freeing ports etc. These are available to other boat builders and can be custom made for individual requirements.
