 
The Cabo line of yachts is built by one of the most successful boat companies in the business. Not surprisingly, professional captains, press, and many marine industry experts consider the founders of Cabo Yachts to be two of the best builders in the world. Not once, but twice, Henry Mohrschladt and Michael Howarth have been at the helm of boat companies considered to produce the finest yachts in their class. Their first partnership was the founding of Pacific Seacraft Corporation. Back then, a serious offshore sailor planning an extended cruise through far oceans always looked to their boats as the benchmark of what a world class cruising boat should be. Common wisdom acknowledged that there simply was nothing better available anywhere in the world.
When the reputation of their boats and the company they built brought an international firm to purchase the company, Mohrschladt and Howarth sold Pacific Seacraft, and not yet ready to stop building boats, directed their knowledge and skill to the challenges of building sport fishing boats. The Cabo line is the result. The materials, design and construction clearly demonstrate that Cabo Yachts is truly a world class builder.

The first Cabo yacht was introduced in 1992 and since then, Cabo has introduced 5 new models in addition to the original Cabo 35. In 1999 the Cabo 35 was re-designed from the bottom up to incorporate improvements and new engineering geared towards better performance and greater access to what was already a superb mechanical layout.
Cabo's impeccable hull is further separated from the competition when You consider the manufacturing process and materials, some of the most expensive in the industry. Lightweight and impermeable vinylester resins are used throughout to reduce osmotic blistering. Stitched biaxial fiberglass roving further strengthens the hull without added excessive weight. State of the art coring materials are used where appropriate to reduce weight and to enhance performance, but never at the expense of Cabo's legendary strength.
